Bringing New York to New Tampa for the twenty-second straight season, the Dance Theatre of Tampa, a non-profit arts organization, presents "The Nutcracker" featuring guest artists as well as local dancers from Hillsborough and Pasco counties. With the magic of it snowing on stage, dazzling costumes and ornate sets, DTT's production is the largest and longest running community holiday tradition hosted by the professionally established school, New Tampa Dance Theatre, and is the highlight of the season for the young and young at heart. This family holiday classic features the heartwarming adventures of young Clara and her beloved Nutcracker Prince as they journey to a magical candy kingdom filled with growing Christmas Trees, Waltzing Flowers and many more whimsical delights. Local ballet students of all ages auditioned for this production and have been excitedly preparing for the performances throughout this fall.
